About Me
Hi, I’m Paula — a creative wellbeing coach with a lifelong love of movement, I’ve been dancing since I was three years old. Over the past 25 years, I’ve worked with dance, somatic practices, and body-mind approaches to support people in expressing themselves, healing, and finding connection.
Along the way, I trained in somatic therapy, creative arts therapies, and body-mind integration, and developed the Mosaic Method — a gentle, flexible approach that weaves together movement, awareness, and emotional exploration. It’s all about empowering people to reconnect with themselves - one piece at a time.

This work comes from my heart. As a mum of four, I know how busy life can get — and how important it is to have tools that support you through the tricky moments. These practices have helped me stay grounded through big transitions and the juggling of everyday life. I’m passionate about offering that same support to others.
Before stepping fully into wellbeing work, I spent time working in HR and recruitment for a fast-growing tech company. That experience gave me real insight into the stress people carry and it’s shaped how I support both individuals and organisations today.
My approach is creative, grounded and person-centred. Whether I’m working with a child, a teen, or a team of professionals, I meet people where they are, and support them with care, to build resilience, balance and a deeper connection to themselves and others.
Just like a mosaic is made up of many pieces, true wellbeing is a blend of different practices – physical, emotional, mental and creative – let’s piece it together, gently.
Paula Hain FounderFrequently Asked Questions
Somatic therapy is a body-based approach to healing and personal development. The name originates from the Greek work “soma” meaning “of the body”. Somatic therapy integrates movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to help release the stress, trauma, and emotional tension stored in the body. It helps build body-mind awareness and supports long-term emotional resilience and nervous system regulation, creating a more integrative approach to transformative change.
While traditional talk therapy focuses mainly on verbal processing, my approach combines somatic therapy, creative expression, and trauma-informed coaching. Together we learn about your unique patterns and nervous system responses and how to create and reprogramme the best responses that work for you. This allows you to explore and release emotions and stress through even small somatic exercises, as well as through words. This can be especially helpful when feelings are hard to express verbally or when you feel that talk therapy isn’t for you.
I support children (6+), teens, young adults, and adults of all ages.
It can help:
• Anxiety, panic, stress, or overwhelm
• Burnout and chronic tension
• Trauma and PTSD recovery
• Emotional and nervous system regulation challenges
• Coping with medically unexplained symptoms (e.g. migraines, fibromyalgia)Yes — sessions can be offered online via video call for support from the comfort of home, or in-person, with the option of outdoor walk-and-talk sessions for teens and adults where appropriate.
